Led by Douglas Zurbriggen, Cornerstone Tactics is built on the belief that practical firearms training should be approachable, personal, and effective. Doug’s mission is to help individuals of all backgrounds and professions become more capable and confident with a firearm—whether that means enjoying a favorite pastime or performing critical job duties with greater skill and assurance.

As Owner and Chief Instructor of Cornerstone Tactics, Doug draws from his own experience in both defensive and competitive shooting as a private citizen. His instruction is grounded in fundamentals and personalized to each student’s needs, creating a supportive environment that’s informative, effective, and even fun.

Doug is a Certified USCCA Instructor and Range Safety Officer, committed to helping students at every skill level build confidence, competence, and control.
